Our horizontal packaging machines form, fill and seal doypacks, zipper bags, spouted bags, 3- or 4-side seal bags and shaped bags. They work from a film reel or with premade pouches, in two ranges: the standard range, intermittent and versatile for small and medium outputs, and the high-speed range, with continuous motion, servo on every axis and hygienic design, up to 400 bags per minute.
Filter by system and range, compare the models in the table and, if you are not sure, tell us about your product, your bag and the speed you need: we will recommend the right machine.

17 models
They form the pouch from a reel of film, fill it and seal it in one machine. Film costs less than ready-made pouches, which pays off on long runs.

They work with ready-made pouches loaded into a magazine: the machine opens, fills and seals them. More flexible for format changes and smaller footprint.

8-station carousel for premade pouches: compact, quick to change over and, in the vacuum version, with rotary vacuum chambers.

Every horizontal machine in one table. Speeds depend on the product and pouch size.

Standard range (HF, HFD, EPJM, EPJM Duplex, EPY, EPR and EPRV). Intermittent machines, robust and easy to operate, with the best balance between investment and output. They are the usual choice for outputs of 15 to 140 bags per minute, many formats and in-house maintenance teams.
High-speed range (HFX and EPX). Continuous motion or fully servo-driven duplex operation, recipe-guided format changes, OEE and production data on screen, hygienic design and modules such as automatic reel splicing, camera inspection or nitrogen injection. For large outputs, from 80 to 400 bags per minute, spouted bags at high speed or bags up to 1 metre high.
Each machine page links to its counterpart in the other range, so you can compare speed, format and footprint for the same type of bag.
Reel-fed (HFFS). The machine forms the bag from a roll of film, fills it and seals it. Film costs considerably less than ready-made pouches, so it pays off on long, stable production runs. It needs a longer line.
Premade pouch. The machine picks ready-made pouches from a magazine, opens them, fills them and seals them. It is more flexible for format changes, takes up less space and handles complex pouches (zipper, spout, handle) without forming modules. The rotary EPR and EPRV machines are the compact carousel version, also available with vacuum.
Reel-fed (HF, HFD, HFX). The reel holder feeds the film, the forming triangle shapes the pouch and the sealing stations make the bottom and sides. The pouch is then cut on the eye mark, a double set of suction cups opens it, a fibre-optic sensor checks it is open, the filler fills it and the double top seal closes it without wrinkles.

Premade pouch (EPY, EPJM, EPX). The magazine feeds the pouches one by one; suction cups and an air-blown cone open them; the fibre-optic sensor confirms they are open (no pouch, no dosing); the filler fills and the sealing station closes with PID temperature control. The pouch leaves on the conveyor to the metal detector, checkweigher and case packing.
Solids, granules, powder, liquids and solid + liquid, pairing the machine with the right filler: multihead weigher, auger filler for powder or piston filler for liquids.
Common in coffee, sports supplements, nuts and snacks, powders, spices and pet food.
We are a Spanish packaging machinery manufacturer and a horizontal bagging machine manufacturer, based in Elche with offices in the UK and China, and an ISO 9001:2015 quality system certified by SGS. Every automatic horizontal packaging machine is adapted to your product and pouch, integrated with the rest of the line (turnkey lines) and backed by our technical service.

It is a machine that handles the bag horizontally: it forms it from a reel or picks it up premade, opens it, fills it with the product and seals it. It is the usual technology for doypacks, zipper bags, spouted bags and 3- or 4-side seal bags.
A horizontal packaging machine that works with doypacks (stand-up pouches), with or without zipper or cap. It can form the doypack from a reel (HF, HFD, HFX) or fill premade doypacks (EPY, EPJM, EPX, EPR). See the doypack formats.
Yes. They form or load the pouch, open, fill, seal and discharge it without operator intervention, synchronised with the filler. No pouch, no product dosing.
A vertical machine forms the bag around a tube and drops the product in: it is faster for pillow bags and flat-bottom bags. A horizontal machine moves the bag upright and is the choice for doypacks, zipper, spouted and shaped bags. See vertical packaging machines.
From 15 bags per minute on the EPJM up to 400 on the twin-lane EPX 120 ML. The machines in the high-speed range run at between 80 and 180 bags per minute with medium-sized doypacks.
From 65 × 70 mm sachets (EPX 120 ML) up to 430 × 1,000 mm premade pouches (EPX 430 L). For reel-fed machines, up to 315 × 480 mm (HF 330).
Yes. They all work with solids, liquids, solid + liquid and powder when combined with the right dosing unit: multihead weigher, auger filler or piston filler.
Yes. We integrate the packaging machine with the weigher, weight control, metal detector and case packing and palletising. See complete turnkey lines.
