Powder and flour packaging

Flour, starch, sugar and other powders do not flow like grain: they compact, raise dust and can soil the bag seal. That is why they are dosed with dedicated systems such as the auger filler, and the machine has to be designed to handle powder.

Frequently asked questions

Which filler is used for powdered products?

Usually an auger filler, which doses accurately by volume. It is mounted on vertical and horizontal packaging machines.

How is dust controlled?

With enclosed dosing, good synchronisation between filler and sealing and, depending on the product, extraction systems. We define this during the project.

Do you pack protein powder?

Yes. We have a dedicated protein powder line and solutions for sports supplements.
