The VME vertical packaging machine forms, fills and seals pillow bags, flat-bottom bags and strips of bags from a film reel, at up to 50 bags per minute. It is YM Packaging's entry-level packaging machine: food-grade 304 stainless steel, a good price and compatibility with all kinds of dosing systems for powder, solids or liquids.

How it works

Unwinding
The reel holder with mechanical self-centring feeds the film; it detects the end of the reel and allows semi-automatic splicing.
Forming
The forming tube, made to the size of your bag, shapes the film. The pull-down belts are driven by a 0.75 kW servo.
Dosing
The product drops through the hopper from the dosing unit mounted above: multihead weigher, auger filler, piston filler or volumetric cup filler.
Sealing
Longitudinal and horizontal sealing by jaws with pneumatic piston, PID temperature control and air blowing for a clean finish.
Cutting
Cut by length or by eye mark, read by the SICK KT5 colour photocell.
Outfeed
The finished bag leaves on the conveyor; the large rear area takes a printer or labeller.
