How it works

  1. Infeed

The magazine feeds the premade pouches to the 8-station carousel, which carries them from one operation to the next.

  2. Opening

The bag is opened at the opening station. If there is no bag, no product is dosed (no bag, no product).

  3. Filling

The attached dosing unit (for powder, granules, solids or liquids) discharges up to 2,500 g into the open bag.

  4. Closing

The sealing station closes the bag. All parameters are controlled by PLC from the touch screen.

  5. Outfeed

The finished bag leaves the carousel towards the metal detector, weight control and case packing.

Frequently asked questions

What speed does the EPR rotary packaging machine reach?

Up to 60 bags per minute, depending on the product and the bag size. By model, the EPR 240 and EPR 300 run at 50 bags per minute and the EPR 350 at 40.

How does it differ from the EPRV rotary packaging machine?

The EPRV vacuum-packs with rotary chambers and reaches up to 120 bags per minute with smaller bags (55 to 160 mm wide). The EPR packs without vacuum, in bags up to 350 mm wide and 2,500 g.

What premade pouch formats does it handle?

Doypack, doypack with zipper and 3-side or 4-side seal bags, with widths from 80 to 350 mm and lengths from 100 to 550 mm depending on the model.

What products can it pack?

Liquids, powder, granules and solids, with fills of up to 2,500 g. The product determines the dosing unit attached to the machine.

What is the difference between the EPR 240, EPR 300 and EPR 350?

The bag size and the floor space they take up. The EPR 240 handles widths from 80 to 240 mm, the EPR 300 from 100 to 300 mm and the EPR 350 from 180 to 350 mm, with lengths of up to 550 mm.

What connections does it need?

A three-phase 400 V, 50 Hz power supply, with 3.62 kW of power depending on the model, and compressed air at 0.5 MPa with a consumption of 6 m³/min.

Is this the right machine for your product?

Tell us what you pack, in which format and at what speed. An engineer will reply with a proposal.
