EPRV rotary vacuum packaging machine

The EPRV rotary vacuum packaging machine feeds, opens, fills and vacuum-seals premade pouches using rotary vacuum chambers, on an 8-station carousel, at up to 120 bags per minute. Built in 304 stainless steel, it handles doypacks, doypacks with zipper and 3-side or 4-side seal bags with liquid, powder, granular and solid products.

How it works

Infeed
The magazine feeds the premade pouches to the 8-station carousel, which carries them from one operation to the next.
Opening
The bag is opened at the opening station. If there is no bag, no product is dosed (no bag, no product).
Filling
The attached dosing unit (for powder, granules, solids or liquids) discharges the product into the open bag.
Vacuum
The rotary chambers close over the bag and the vacuum pump draws out the air before sealing.
Closing
The bag is vacuum-sealed. All parameters are controlled by the Siemens PLC from the touch screen.
Outfeed
The finished bag leaves the carousel towards the metal detector, weight control and case packing.

What speed does the EPRV rotary packaging machine reach?

Up to 120 bags per minute on the EPRV 100, 90 on the EPRV 140 and 80 on the EPRV 160, depending on the product and the bag size.

How does it differ from the EPR rotary packaging machine?

The EPRV vacuum-packs using rotary chambers and is faster (up to 120 bags per minute), with bags from 55 to 160 mm wide. The EPR packs without vacuum, at up to 60 bags per minute, with bags up to 350 mm and fills of up to 2,500 g.

How does it create the vacuum?

With rotary chambers built into the 8-station carousel and a 2.7 kW vacuum pump that draws the air out of the bag before sealing.

What premade pouch formats does it handle?

Doypack, doypack with zipper and 3-side or 4-side seal bags, with widths from 55 to 160 mm and lengths from 60 to 290 mm depending on the model.
