The EPY horizontal packaging machine is YM Packaging's high-performance premade pouch machine, built to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at up to 70 bags per minute. Pack formats
How it works
Bag loading
The pouch magazine, adjustable for the different formats, feeds the premade pouches one by one.
Opening
A double set of suction cups opens the top and the bottom; the nylon cone with bottom air blowing finishes opening the base.
Check
The fibre-optic sensor confirms the bag is open. If there is no bag, there is no discharge.
Filling
The dosing unit (multihead weigher, auger filler, piston filler…) discharges the product into the open bag.
Sealing
Top stretching to prevent creases and double top seal with a heated silicone backing pad, with PID temperature control.
Outfeed
The sealed bag leaves on the integrated conveyor towards the metal detector, weight control and case packing.
