The HF horizontal packaging machine forms, fills and seals bags from a film reel: doypacks, 3- and 4-side seal bags, and bags with zipper, handle, special shape or spout, with a perfect pack finish. Two models: the HF 220, from 40 to 70 bags per minute, and the HF 330 for large bags up to 315 × 480 mm. It works with powder, solids or liquids with any dosing system.

Forming triangle with spindle adjuster, stand-up base punching with BIMBA cylinders and a Venturi suction unit with removable filter for trimmings.
Seal cooling station to eliminate bubbles and creases, top stretching and double top seal with a heated silicone backing pad.
Powder, solids or liquids. It combines with all kinds of dosing systems for high output.
All adjustable elements are scaled, the reel holder has an expanding shaft and there is a large rear area for reel splicing.
High-resolution colour sensor for the eye mark, fibre-optic open-bag checker and a no bag, no discharge system.
Full-view front doors, height-adjustable feet, integrated outfeed conveyor and centralised lubrication pump.

90–315 mm wide
The standard HF format, formed from the reel.

Special-shaped bag with or without zipper closure.

Spouted or capped bags on both models.
The reel holder with expanding shaft feeds the film; the servo tensioner keeps it under tension and the machine warns when the film runs out.
The forming triangle shapes the bag and a punch makes the holes for the stand-up base. Vulcanised rubber rollers pull the film.
Bottom sealer, first and second vertical seals and a seal cooling station to prevent bubbles and creases.
The colour sensor reads the eye mark on the film and the adjustable hardened blades cut each bag precisely. Easy-open notch option.
A double set of suction cups opens the top and bottom, the nylon cone with air blowing opens the base and the fibre-optic sensor checks the bag is open before filling.
Top stretching for crease-free sealing, double top seal with a heated silicone backing pad and an integrated outfeed conveyor.

1450 mmThe machine integrates with the rest of the line: dosing, quality control and end of line.
The HF 220 runs at between 40 and 70 bags per minute and the HF 330, for large bags, at between 30 and 50. The actual figure depends on the product and the bag size.
The HFD works two bags at a time and reaches up to 140 bags per minute with narrower bags. The HF is the single-lane version, with a wider bag size range.
3- and 4-side seal bags, doypacks, and bags with zipper, handle, special shape or spout, all formed from the reel.
The HF 220, from 90 × 140 mm with a 25 + 25 mm gusset up to 220 × 280 mm with a 50 + 50 mm gusset. The HF 330, from 150 × 200 mm up to 315 × 480 mm with a 70 + 70 mm gusset.
Reels up to 550 mm in diameter. The HF 220 takes reels up to 660 mm wide with a 74 mm core; the HF 330, up to 1,100 mm wide with a 74 or 152 mm core.
All adjustable elements are scaled and the machine stores up to 99 recipes. The reel holder has an expanding shaft and a large rear area for splicing reels.
