YM Packaging has developed an automated feeding and packaging line for technical PET parts, designed for precise product handling and a continuous supply to the packaging machine.
The goal: feeding the packaging machine part by part
The parts had to reach the vertical packaging machine one at a time, with precise handling and a steady rate.
How the line works
- Feed hopper: discharges the parts onto a conveyor belt.
- Infeed conveyor: takes the product to a robotic handling cell.
- Yaskawa robot: inside the cell, a Yaskawa handling robot carries out high-precision pick and place, picking the parts one by one from the infeed conveyor.
- Bucket conveyor: the robot places the parts in order into a bucket conveyor, which carries them to the packaging machine.
- Vertical packaging machine: receives the product at a steady rate.
