FPS Flowpack packaging machine
The FPS Flowpack packaging machine is the high-end servo version of the FP Flowpack: three independent servo motors drive the pushers, the rollers and the jaws, for more precision and flexibility, at up to 80 bags per minute in pillow bags. The standard range goes from the FP200S to the FP1000S (the number is the reel width in millimetres) and we build any other size to order; the FP700S, for example, takes products up to 550 × 330 × 150 mm. With the no product, no bag function, the bag is not opened when there is no product.

Pack formats
How it works
Infeed
Wide pushers, driven by their own servo motor, carry the product along the 2500 mm infeed; the top support keeps it stable in transit.
Unwinding
The self-centring reel holder feeds the film and the PEC sensor reads the eye mark on printed film to position it accurately.
Forming
The film wraps the product and forms the tube of the pillow bag.
Longitudinal sealing
The rollers, driven by their servo motor, pull the film and seal the longitudinal fin with PID-controlled temperature.
Cross sealing and cutting
The jaws, with their own servo motor, seal with the cross-serrated jaw and the knife cuts in zigzag between products.
Outfeed
The built-in outfeed belt takes the finished bag to quality control and case packing.

Frequently asked questions
What do the three servo motors bring?
Pushers, rollers and jaws each have their own servo motor and are set separately: more precise film and product positioning, more flexible format changes and up to 80 bags per minute.
What is the difference between the FPS and the FP?
The FP drives the whole machine with a single motor and reaches 60 bags per minute. The FPS has three servo motors, Panasonic drives, a top product support and the no product, no bag function, and reaches 80.
Which model do I need?
It depends on the product: the FP400S takes up to 500 × 170 × 80 mm (400 mm reel), the FP600S up to 500 × 280 × 80 mm (600 mm) and the FP700S up to 550 × 330 × 150 mm (700 mm).
What does the no product, no bag function do?
If no product arrives, the machine does not open a bag: no film is wasted and no empty bags come out.
Is it suitable for long or delicate products?
Yes. The 2500 mm infeed takes long formats, the top support keeps the product stable in transit and the supporting mat is designed for bakery.
Can a printer or inert gas be added?
Yes. It comes prepared for a printer and an inert gas system.
Do you build other sizes?
Yes. The standard range goes from FP200S to FP1000S: the number in the model name is the reel width in millimetres (200 to 1000 mm). We also adapt the machine to any other reel or product size.
