Cartesian palletiser

The YM Packaging cartesian palletiser is our most compact and cost-effective solution for automatic case palletising. A gantry with 3 linear axes (X, Y and Z) picks each carton or regular-shaped pack from the conveyor and places it on the pallet layer by layer, with simple patterns and up to 10 cycles per minute. We study your plant and adapt the palletiser to your space and your output.

How it works

  1. Case infeed

    Sealed cases arrive on the infeed conveyor from the case sealer or the checkweigher.

  2. Pick

    The gantry head moves down the Z axis and picks the case with its gripper.

  3. Transfer

    The X and Y axes carry the case to its position in the pattern.

  4. Place and layers

    The case is placed in the layer and the cycle repeats until the pallet is complete.

  5. Pallet out

    The full pallet is taken out through the guarding door and an empty pallet goes in.

It is a palletiser that moves the product with a gantry of three linear axes (X, Y and Z). It picks each case from the conveyor and places it on the pallet following the programmed pattern, layer by layer.

When should I choose a cartesian palletiser rather than a robot?
