Quinoa packaging machine
Quinoa, chia and bulgur are very small grains and seeds that flow like a liquid. They slip through any gap and can get trapped in the seal, so dosing and sealing have to be precisely adjusted.
We pack these products in Stabilo bags, pillow bags or doypacks with zip, the usual format for premium and organic ranges.

Packing quinoa: the challenges
- Very small grain: flows easily and gets into the sealing areas.
- Hermetic seal: the bag must seal with no product left in the closure.
- Premium formats: doypacks with zip and stand-up bags.
- Small fill weights: 250 to 500 g formats that demand accuracy.

Frequently asked questions
Can the same machine handle quinoa, chia and bulgur?
Yes. They are similar products; by changing the recipe and, if needed, the format, the same line packs all three.
How do you stop grain getting caught in the seal?
By synchronising discharge and sealing properly and adjusting drop timings. We verify this with your product during trials.
Can you pack in doypacks with zip?
Yes, from premade pouches with the EPY or reel-fed with the HF.
