Short pasta packaging machine
Dry short pasta is hard, heavy and abrasive, and some shapes tangle together. It is mainly sold in Stabilo or pillow bags, and bag weight and presentation must be consistent.
At YM Packaging we design vertical lines with multihead weighers for short pasta, built to run long hours every day.

Packing short pasta: the challenges
- Abrasive product: dry pasta wears hoppers and forming tubes.
- Shapes that tangle: some pasta shapes interlock and make weighing harder.
- Breakage: long drops break pieces and create crumbs.
- A stable bag: the Stabilo four-side-seal bag gives strong shelf presence.
