EPJ Duplex horizontal packaging machine
The EPJ Duplex horizontal packaging machine is the twin-lane version of the EPJ: it opens, fills and seals two premade pouches per cycle and doubles the output, from 40 to 70 bags per minute. Built in stainless steel for the food industry, it changes product quickly and with few parts to swap: it is the machine for plants with many SKUs and short runs that change format once or twice a week and need more speed than a single-lane machine.

How it works
Pouch loading
The magazine feeds the premade pouches, two per cycle.
Opening
The machine opens both pouches to receive the product.
Filling
The dosing system (multihead weigher, auger, piston…) discharges the product into both open pouches.
Sealing
Both pouches are sealed at the same time.
Discharge
The sealed pouches leave towards the metal detector, the checkweigher and case packing.

A machine that handles two pouches per cycle. The EPJ Duplex opens, fills and seals two premade pouches at once, which is why it reaches 40–70 bags per minute against 20–40 for the single-lane EPJ.

From 85 × 85 mm to 205 × 300 mm (width × height), with gussets of 25 to 50 mm per side. For larger pouches, up to 315 × 450 mm, there is the EPJ.
