We are looking for an industrial designer for our headquarters in Elche (Alicante, Spain). Working with the technical and sales departments, you will design conveyors, platforms and machinery and prepare technical quotations.
What you will do
- Produce drawings and layouts.
- Design conveyors, platforms and industrial machinery.
- Prepare technical quotations.
- Manage technical orders with suppliers (laser cutting, machining, etc.).
- Support the sales team in customer meetings and the technical office on commercial matters.
- Check the technical material once it is delivered to the plant.
What we are looking for
- Education: engineering degree.
- Experience: at least 2 years.
- Languages: good English (B2 minimum).
- Skills: advanced AutoCAD and SolidWorks, advanced Microsoft Office; standard commercial components and their use in machinery (motors, gears, bearings, etc.) and pneumatic components (solenoid valves, cylinders, etc.).
- Organised and tidy, prioritising tasks by date and importance, and able to work under pressure.
- Able to coordinate with production, purchasing and operations on project management and documentation.
- Own vehicle.
Nice to have
- Living in or near Elche.
- Mechanical industrial engineering degree or a master’s in Industrial Design.
- Experience in industrial machinery design.
Conditions
- Contract: permanent, full-time, morning shift.
- Location: Elche (Alicante, Spain), on site.
