We are looking for an automation and mechatronics technician for our subsidiary in Telford, United Kingdom. You will install, commission and fine-tune our packaging machines, both at our UK facilities and at customer sites.

What you will do

  • Install, commission and adjust packaging machines at our UK facilities and at customer sites.
  • Program and modify PLCs in ladder logic (LAD) and C++.
  • Work with WinCC flexible (Siemens), CX-Programmer (Omron) and/or Rockwell.
  • Configure drives and servo motors.
  • Read and develop electrical schematics.
  • Design, build and wire electrical control panels.

What we are looking for

  • Education: higher vocational qualification (HND level) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience: at least 3 years.
  • Languages: intermediate English.
  • Skills: HMI, industrial electronics and mechanical engineering; intermediate pneumatics and mechanics.
  • Strong people skills and team spirit.
  • Responsible, and keen to keep learning.

Conditions
