HFX 210 horizontal packaging machine

The HFX 210 horizontal packaging machine forms, fills and seals two bags per cycle from a film reel. Fully servo-driven and run by a single operator, it produces doypacks, zipper bags and shaped bags from 100 to 205 mm wide at 80–120 bags per minute, with fast format changes for handling many SKUs.

Why choose it

01

Two bags per cycle

Two working lanes from a single reel: double the output of a single-lane machine in the same footprint.

02

A single operator

Fully servo drive: the machine needs less intervention and one person can run it.

03

Recipe-based format changes

Each recipe stores the settings and shows which parts to change; the time of every changeover is logged so it can keep improving.

04

Filling without a bottleneck

The moving filling module gives three times the filling time of a conventional machine, even with high-volume products.

05

Less film, lower cost

Precise bag cutting and less trim waste: film consumption goes down, and so does the cost per bag.

06

Hygienic design

Sealed drives, with no exposed screws or air tubes; the jaw Teflon and the belts come off without tools.

Pack formats

Doypack

Doypack

100–205 mm wide

Formed from the reel, with a stand-up base.

How it works

  1. Unwinding and splicing

The film unwinds under controlled tension; with automatic splicing the reel is changed without stopping.

  2. Forming

The former shapes two bags at a time, with a stand-up base, zipper or die-cut depending on the format.

  3. Sealing and cutting

Bottom and side seals and precise cutting of each bag, with less film trim.

  4. Opening and filling

The bags are opened and filled while they move: filling takes longer without reducing output.

  5. Closing and outfeed

Optional deaeration, top seal and outfeed of both lanes to weight control.

Modules and options

Die-cut shaped bags

Cuts bags with special outlines to make the product stand out on the shelf.

Euro hole and easy-open notch punch

Punches the Euro hang hole or the easy-open notch on the machine itself.

In-line zipper

Adds the zipper closure while the bag is formed, with no loss of speed.

Automatic reel splicing

Changes the reel while the machine is running: production does not stop when the film runs out.

Camera inspection

Checks the print, batch number, QR code or barcode of every bag in line.

Weigher integration

Connects to multihead weighers, linear weighers and other dosing units, with quick mounting and easy removal for cleaning.

Premade pouch module

Lets the same machine also run premade pouches, as well as forming bags from the reel.

Cap and spout module

Places and seals the cap or spout on the machine itself; a simple module to operate.

Deaeration

Removes air from the bag by vacuum and mechanical pressure before sealing: the bag takes up less space and travels better.

Bag bottom vibration

A servo vibrates the bag bottom during filling: the product settles, the bag is fuller and the weight is more consistent.

Cyclone trim separator

Extracts the film trimmings and separates them for recycling.

Four-corner gripping hopper

The hopper holds the bag by all four corners for accurate filling.

Frequently asked questions

What speed does the HFX 210 reach?

Between 80 and 120 bags per minute, two bags per cycle. The actual figure depends on the product and the bag size.

How does it differ from the HFD?

Both are reel-fed duplex machines. The HFD belongs to our standard range; the HFX 210 adds servo on all axes, hygienic design, OEE monitoring on the HMI and modules such as automatic splicing or camera inspection.

And from the HFX 210 C?

The HFX 210 C runs in continuous motion and reaches 120–180 bags per minute with the same bag range.

What bag sizes does it handle?

From 100 × 140 mm with a 25 + 25 mm gusset up to 205 × 320 mm with a 50 + 50 mm gusset.

Can it run premade pouches?

Yes. With the optional premade pouch module, the same machine forms bags from the reel or runs ready-made pouches.

Is this the right machine for your product?

Tell us what you pack, in which format and at what speed. An engineer will reply with a proposal.
