HFX 210 C horizontal packaging machine

The HFX 210 C horizontal packaging machine forms, fills and seals doypacks from the reel in continuous motion. With no stops at each station, it reaches 120–180 bags per minute with less noise and steady running over long shifts, and it can make custom-designed special-shaped bags.

Why choose it

01

Continuous motion

The machine does not stop at each station: less vibration, less noise and a steady output over long shifts.

02

Up to 180 bags per minute

The highest output in the range for medium-sized doypacks, with an overall performance that lets you choose a single model for the line.

03

Servo on every axis

Each axis moves only when needed, which cuts energy use. The screen shows voltage, current and air consumption in real time.

04

Recipe-based format changes

Each recipe stores the settings and shows which parts to change; the time of every changeover is logged so it can keep improving.

05

Quality and OEE at a glance

In-line detection of bag loading, height, coding and weight; the HMI shows OEE and production data by user.

06

Less film, lower cost

Precise bag cutting and less trim waste: film consumption goes down, and so does the cost per bag.

  • Solid + liquid

Pack formats

How it works

  1. Unwinding and splicing

Unwinding under controlled tension and automatic splicing to change reels on the run.

  2. Continuous forming

The film moves forward without stopping while the bag is formed and Euro holes or easy-open notches are punched.

  3. Sealing and cutting

Sealing and cutting of each bag synchronised with the continuous motion.

  4. Tracking fill

The hopper travels with the bag and the bottom vibrates to settle the product: more filling time at higher speed.

  5. Closing and outfeed

Deaeration, top seal and bag outfeed to the checkweigher.

Modules and options

Tracking filling hopper

The hopper travels with the bag over several stations and gives more than four times the filling time: higher speed, even with bulky products.

Bag bottom vibration

A servo vibrates the bag bottom during filling: the product settles, the bag is fuller and the weight is more consistent.

Euro hole and easy-open notch punch

Punches the Euro hang hole or the easy-open notch on the machine itself.

In-line zipper

Adds the zipper closure while the bag is formed, with no loss of speed.

Automatic reel splicing

Changes the reel while the machine is running: production does not stop when the film runs out.

Camera inspection

Checks the print, batch number, QR code or barcode of every bag in line.

Premade pouch module

Lets the same machine also run premade pouches, as well as forming bags from the reel.

Die-cut shaped bags

Cuts bags with special outlines to make the product stand out on the shelf.

Self-adjusting jaws and grippers

The sealing jaws and grippers position themselves automatically at every format change.

Cyclone trim separator

Extracts the film trimmings and separates them for recycling.

Cap and spout module

Places and seals the cap or spout on the machine itself; a simple module to operate.

Deaeration

Removes air from the bag by vacuum and mechanical pressure before sealing: the bag takes up less space and travels better.

Frequently asked questions

What speed does the HFX 210 C reach?

Between 120 and 180 bags per minute in continuous motion. The actual speed depends on the product and the bag size.

What is the advantage of continuous motion?

The bag does not stop at each station: there is less vibration and noise, running is steadier and the filling time is longer thanks to the tracking hopper.

How does it differ from the HF?

The HF is our intermittent standard-range machine (HF 220: 40–70 bags/min). The HFX 210 C makes the same type of bag at 120–180 bags/min, with servo on all axes, OEE on screen and high-end modules.

What bag sizes does it handle?

From 100 × 140 mm with a 25 + 25 mm gusset to 205 × 320 mm with a 50 + 50 mm gusset.

Can it make bags with a cap?

Yes, with the optional cap module. For spouted bags at high output there is the HFX 210 CS.

Is this the right machine for your product?

Tell us what you pack, in which format and at what speed. An engineer will reply with a proposal.
