Frequently asked questions
What products is the 2.5G weigher designed for?
For dry, free-flowing products such as sweets, snacks, nuts, wrapped products or biscuits.
What speed does it reach?
From 45 discharges per minute on the M8 to 100 on the M20. The M10 reaches 60 and the M14 75. The actual figure depends on the product and the target weight.
What is the difference between the four models?
The number of heads and the speed. The M8 has 8 heads, the M10 10, the M14 14 and the M20 20. More heads means more possible combinations and more discharges per minute.
What hopper volume can I choose?
It depends on the model, from 0.5 L up to 5.5 L. The M10 and M14 accept six different volumes, the M20 two (1.3 and 2.5 L) and the M8 one (1.3 L). The buckets are changed to suit the product.
How does it differ from the 4G weigher?
The 2.5G is the best-value option for dry products. The 4G is designed for very high speeds, corrosive products and more advanced software.
Which packaging machine is it combined with?
It is mounted on a vertical packaging machine, which forms the bag and receives each discharge from the weigher. It can also feed other packaging lines.
