IB bag inserter
The IB bag inserter automates the insertion of made-to-measure bags into cases: it forms the bag from a plastic film reel, inserts it without creases and seals its corners so that product does not build up in them. With servo-driven and pneumatic movements and recipes stored on the screen, it adjusts its own configuration when the case format changes.

Why choose it
Bags made to fit each case
The bags are formed from a plastic film reel, so they are made to fit whatever case size you need.
Crease-free insertion
The bag is inserted into the case without creases, using servo-driven and pneumatic movements.
Sealed corners
It seals the corners of the bag to stop product building up in them.
Automatic format change
The screen stores the programs; when a recipe is selected the machine adjusts itself to the new format.
Controlled insertion
Bag placement is monitored at all times; if a bag is not placed correctly, the machine detects it and triggers an alarm or a signal.
Premium-brand components
Omron or Siemens PLC, Omron or Panasonic drive, Flexem touch screen, SMC or Festo pneumatics, and Sick and/or Omron sensors and photocells.

How it works
Bag forming
The bag is formed from the plastic film reel, sized to the case selected in the recipe.
Insertion
The servo-driven, pneumatic head inserts the bag into the case without creases.
Corner sealing
The corners of the bag are sealed so that product does not build up in them.
Check and outfeed
The machine checks the bag is correctly placed and the case leaves on the motorised stainless steel rollers towards filling.

Frequently asked questions
Where do the bags it inserts come from?
The machine forms them from a plastic film reel, so each bag is made to fit the case that is going to be filled.
How does it avoid creases and product in the corners?
The bag is inserted into the case with servo-driven and pneumatic movements, without creases, and its corners are sealed so that product does not build up in them.
How is the case format changed?
By selecting the program on the touch screen. Recipes are stored and, when the program is changed, the machine makes the adjustment automatically.
What happens if a bag is not placed correctly?
Insertion is monitored at all times. If, in the unlikely event, a bag is not placed correctly, the machine detects it and triggers an alarm or a signal.
What does it need to run?
A 400 V (50 Hz) power supply, 6 kW of power and compressed air at 6 bar with a flow of 300 l/min. It takes up 1800 × 1570 × 1905 mm.
