During these first days of the year 2023, we would like to take stock of the past year, which we are now bidding farewell to a new one, full of hope and new projects.
This year the expectations for growth were positive, and finally they have been exceeded by far, being this past 2022 the year with the highest turnover in our company. This has happened due to some of the improvements that we have developed during this year:
- Enlargement of new facilities in the industrial estate of L'Alcudia, Elche, with more than 4.000 m2.
- Improvements in the production, quality control and technical office departments.
- Improvement in the after-sales service
- Creation of new packaging lines
- Improving the quality of suppliers
This proves, once again this year, that YM Packaging Group's economic and human commitment to the development of the R&D department is conceived as a fundamental pillar of our identity.
Company expansion
In the past year, we have developed new packaging lines that we have presented at different international fairs, and with very good sensations that have brought us a lot of growth, solidity in the sector, and cooperation with different international companies. In particular, we would like to highlight our presence at the Hispack, Alimentaria (both in Barcelona) and PPMM (UK) trade fairs, which have become the most important in the sector.

- Spain
- UK
- Indonesia
In addition, during this year YM Packaging has opened an official distributor in the Balearic Islands, which has brought agility and professionalism to our customers in the islands, thanks to BaleClip, which has seen a great commercial opportunity to strengthen its presence in the packaging lines. We have also become Gold Partners of Frozen, the Spanish Frozen Sector Association, which makes us especially excited to continue growing and completing new projects.
Customer consolidation and growth in different sectors
In terms of customer growth, during this stage we have grown in different sectors, which demonstrates the great versatility of our machinery, which together with the guarantee we offer, has made this year the best for YM Packaging, with which we have acquired a great know-how, which has meant that many of the customers we had in previous years have returned to trust us, thanks to the guarantee we offer and the after-sales service, endorsed by the renewal of the ISO 900 standard, both in manufacturing and after-sales.
Expectations for the New Year
2023 is a year full of new projects and innovation to provide the best service and quality to our customers, but we know that we will be present wherever necessary so that our customers and new customers can find us easily and we can continue to support their growth and meet their packaging, palletising and boxing needs, and as always, with the best guarantee of YM Packaging Group.
