Industrial product packaging applications
The packaging of food represents 80% of our share of the market, within this area products can be categorised into different sectors: bakery, confectionary, meat, fish, fruits and vegetables, snacks and sweets, frozen products, etc.
In the last few years, we have seen an increased need for suitable packaging for food products due to the high demand for quality and food safety in order to prolong the product’s shelf life. For this reason, we carefully consider the packaging produces depending on the product in question.
In addition to extending the shelf life of the product, the correct packaging is also a useful marketing tool as it facilitates information about when the product was made and the ability to ease the transport.
Food packaging cannot be standardised. Each industry requires different characteristics and finishings. For each project, our technical office carries out an in-depth study of the product. During this study our engineers establish what components to use for the correct treatment and packaging of the given product.
There are products that have certain special and complex features when it comes to transport, dose and/or weighing. These products are usually processed, meats or other. For this type of products, the surface of the equipment must be Teflon, dimple plated, screw linear feeders, etc.
On the other hand, there are products that are easier to transport and dose due to their nature. For this type of products, the packaging process is simpler. We can use standard components and smooth surfaces without the need of any special finishes.
